My cooking courses last 1 or 3 days. They will be in English and a practical cooking experience. The classes start at 9.00 a.m. I explain the day’s menu and tell the history and tradition of the Italian dishes we will be making and the basics of Mediterranean cooking. Then we cook and everyone actively participates in the preparation of the suggested recipes. We will cook lunch and eat together. 

Prices (all inclusive)

half day – private cooking class:  175 € per person

3 half day – private cooking class :  450 € per person

We will be learning the basics of Italian cooking during the course. Previous experience is not required, only will and curiosity to learn. I will teach how to make dishes that you can prepare on your own at home. Each recipe contains basic ingredients easily found in every country.

The basic dishes of Italian cooking you will be making  are:  home made fresh pastarisotto, gnocchi, lasagne, home-made sugo for pasta, soup, tiramisù. A suitable wine will be matched to each dish. Recipes might vary according to the season. I personally take care of every aspect of what concerns the organization of my cooking classes.

I offer assistance to my guests to find accommodation in B&B’s, flats and hotels close to my home in the centre of Venice. I personally check each kind of accommodation. However, I do not directly take care of the booking itself.
